General information only
The guides, articles and answers on this Site are general information for homeowners and businesses in Anchorage Municipality. They are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a qualified technician.
The company that performs the restoration work
Anchorage Water Damage Restoration operates a referral line. It receives water-damage enquiries by telephone and online and forwards them to an independent local firm. It performs no extraction, drying, assessment, mold testing or repair itself, and the scope, price, equipment and workmanship belong to the independent firm that attends.
Whatever licensing, permits and insurance a particular job needs are the obligation of the attending firm. This website holds no permit, licence or accreditation and makes no such claim. Where a Municipality of Anchorage permit applies, the attending firm is responsible for obtaining it, and no state licence specific to water damage restoration or mold work is identified on this site.
The attending firm's licence and insurance particulars are supplied on request by telephone or before the visit, and are not published here for privacy reasons. Confirm them with the issuing office, and direct any question about what your own policy pays to your insurer.

Prices are estimates
Price ranges are typical estimates for our service area in 2026. They are not quotes or offers. Your price is confirmed in person before any work starts.
Safety around water damage
Standing water can hide live electrical circuits: do not walk into a flooded room until power to that area is off. Sewage and floodwater (IICRC Category 3) can carry bacteria and viruses; keep children, pets and anyone with a weak immune system away, and do not handle contaminated materials without protection. Visible mold larger than a small patch should be assessed before anyone disturbs it. When in doubt, leave the area and call a professional.
Licensing, standards and insurance
Repair and reconstruction work in Alaska is regulated by that state's contractor licensing board. The IICRC S500 (water damage) and S520 (mold remediation) standards are industry guidance, not government licenses. Insurance coverage is decided by your insurer under your policy; nothing on this Site is a promise of coverage or of a claim outcome, and information here is a summary, not legal or insurance advice.
